Body Harmony
When our body is unwell, many of us would almost certainly visit a doctor or an alternative therapy practitioner. But have we considered that the “who” doing the healing is actually our own body? Yes, our body is designed to heal itself. Let me explain.
Doctors or therapists can assist only if the individual is in harmony with Nature, the subtle energy. Whilst the doctor may give the medication, what happens is that the actual healing is done by a Higher Intelligence, also called Life Force by some, when the individual is so in harmony.
For example, have you ever wondered how, when you get a cut (one that’s not deep or serious) in your body and even as you ignore it, it gets healed without any medication? This is the self-healing mechanism of our body at work.
No matter what we call this capacity to self-heal, the sacred influence is within each and everyone of us and it is important that we recognize this Infinite Wisdom, be in tune with It and invoke It for our benefit.
Body Intelligence
Self-healing can be very powerful and if you discover this secret strength within yourself, you will be able to fight off disease more successfully, enhance your energy and vitality, and enjoy more peace and well-being.
Lifestyle Choices
Many people abuse their body on a daily basis with lack of sleep or rest, improper diet, overwork, emotional stress and other undisciplined lifestyle choices. But they still seem to escape the adverse effects. This happens because, unbeknownst to them, their self-healing system has been operating and working hard to keep their body unaffected – so far. Over time however, the accumulated effects of “bad” lifestyle choices will eventually catch up with them, overwhelming their self-healing mechanisms to result in health problems.
Body Communication
All of us suffer from aches and pains in our body at some point in our lives. Aches and pains are basically messages that we are not listening to our body to change our lifestyle and stop abusing our body.
In my pursuit of knowledge of the unseen energies, I had the opportunity to learn and experience self-healing methods from renowned spiritual masters in India. All of them say that the answers to every person’s woes are within the person, but people are just not sensitive to the signals they receive from their body senses.
Healing is happening in our body every moment. It’s therefore vital that we communicate with our body with good and positive thoughts because these thoughts play a major role in self-healing.
According to some masters, people who regularly attend or visit places of worship of any faith or pray individually are less likely to have health problems than those who seldom pay attention to such sacred sites or events. Could it be that they have a stronger immune system, because of their faith? Or could it be that because they observe healthier lifestyles, these people have a stronger sense of well-being and satisfaction than others?

Body & Thought Awareness
The best way to start believing that you can heal yourself is by reprogramming your thoughts. Our minds are powerful tools, which we can harness to create our reality through thoughts. Using thoughts, we move the unformed energy of the Universe into form, which gives direction to our words and actions. Each thought is like a stone dropped into a lake, sending ripples out into our world to affect all that they touch.
We can choose where we focus our thoughts and how we invest our energy, which then give us the power to design our lives and be whatever we choose.
It is important to talk to your body openly (or silently if you think others around might see you as weird). Repeat the daily affirmation: “Every day, I am getting healthier and happier” or “I’m connected to the Life Force and always have enough energy and vitality to be healthy and happy”. Visualize and imagine that you are healthy and vibrant with light and see your body being filled with radiant healing Life Force.
Self-Healing Method
You can tap into the Life Force for protection and better health or whenever you want to ease pain, stress or get relief. Here is a simple exercise to connect with this energy:
► Find a quiet spot and hold your left hand and palm outward.
► For healing energy to flow through you, visualize the Life Force coming into your body through the palm of your left hand. It can be a white light or any warm color.
► As you hold up your left hand and allow the energy to enter, place your right hand and palm down on the area of your body which requires healing.
► You may feel some warmth entering your left hand and your right palm getting hot. You may also experience the feeling of vibration which means the Life Force is moving through you.
► You can practice this exercise for about 10 to 20 minutes whenever you have an issue like indigestion, tense muscle or shoulder, headache, stress, joint pain, etc.
► After completing the exercise, relax and be grateful for connecting with the energy. Remember to say “Thank you” silently to show appreciation for the Life Force.
