“Inspiring Hope” with the bodymindsoul Carnival

“Inspire Hope” was a most appropriate theme for the very first bodymindsoul Carnival for 2018. It was held on 31 March & 1 April, 2018 at Paradigm Mall in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

The exciting 2-day event which served as The HEART of the Community brought everyone together as One Community, connecting everyone with and to their hearts. Filled with inspiring, educational and fun activities, workshops and mini talks, there was never a dull moment.

The Free Hugs Parade team was constantly in high spirits and cheer, making their rounds in the shopping mall and spreading plenty of positive vibes. Armed with positive quotes, beautiful smiles and open hearts, they greeted shoppers with hugs and handshakes before getting the more-than-willing participants to pose for photographs holding placards inscribed with positive quotes.

Emo bunnies at the Children’s Corner, managed by the Guardians of Mother Earth, brought out much laughter with enthusiastic participation from the children. Even adults participated and this helped to make the atmosphere even more fun as the children learned about and understood their different expressions of emotions through the Emo bunnies.

Bernama News Channel dropped by to interview both bodymindsoul and vendors on the vision of being the Heart of Community.

The whole carnival came together as ONE during the Songwriters Round, when everyone sang along to the popular number, “Heal the World” (Michael Jackson). Even shoppers on the upper levels stopped to soak in the healing energies of the harmonious sounds from the group. Positive vibes and awe reverberated through the entire Concourse Square!

There were visitors who came back on the second day to either procure the various vendors’ products and services or attend the free workshops, inspirational talks and meditations. Many did both.

Many families, friends and loved ones spent that entire weekend having lots of fun and joy together, and at the same time educating themselves on the possibilities of living positive, healthy and abundant lives.

Irrespective of their status, religion, background, or age, our carnival inspired hope in everyone through the activities, programs, vendors, children’s corner and the loving hearts of the entire bodymindsoul team.
